Registered Clinical or Health Psychologist

About the role

Join the Palmerston North team at TBI Health as a Registered Clinical or Health Psychologist. You will work across a variety of contracts, including the ACC Pain Management Service, Training for Independence, and private/employer services, supporting clients throughout their lifespan.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide evidence‑based recommendations.
• Prepare clear written and verbal summaries of assessments with treatment goals and rationales.
• Deliver effective psychology treatment to clients recovering from injury or managing persistent pain.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Complete contract clinical reports and referrer letters to required standards within agreed timeframes.

Required profile

• Registered Clinical Psychologist or Health Psychologist.
• Experience working with clients of all ages, particularly those with injury, pain or rehabilitation needs.
• Ability to work full‑time or part‑time (approximately 24 hours per week) with flexible days and hours.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
