Regional Scheduling Advisor

About the role
The Regional Scheduling Advisor will work from South Auckland to help the justice system deliver timely and accessible court services. This fixed‑term position (until 30 June 2027) involves shaping how judicial time and court resources are allocated across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain court schedules that respond to changing demand and emerging priorities.
- Support decisions on the allocation of judicial time and court resources, balancing operational needs with judicial priorities.
- Analyse scheduling, utilisation and performance data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Provide trusted advice to Court Managers, Judicial Resource Managers, Executive Judges and other senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with judiciary, court leadership and registry teams to ensure consistent, evidence‑based decision‑making.
Required profile
- Proactive, solutions‑focused and comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to quickly understand court operations and local needs.
- Ability to translate operational challenges into practical, data‑driven solutions.
