Refrigeration Reliability Manager – EU

About the role

The Refrigeration Reliability Manager will ensure Amazon’s expanding fleet of commercial refrigeration systems operates at peak performance across Europe. You will act as the technical expert, driving standardisation, reliability improvements and compliance with food‑safety standards while supporting both existing and new delivery stations.

Key responsibilities

• Create, innovate and drive projects that deliver reliability, ergonomic, cost and resource‑use benefits at European scale.
• Increase standardisation within the network of refrigeration systems and influence future delivery‑station design.
• Optimize existing equipment and processes and support the rollout of new equipment from concept to deployment.
• Author and chair reports and business‑case reviews for senior leadership.
• Communicate reliability program status and outputs to senior leaders on a regular basis.
• Develop long‑term roadmap strategy and implement standards validated by the EU Engineering team.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on safety, equipment availability and predictive & preventative maintenance.
• Lead large‑scale deployment projects and coordinate with Operations, Process Improvement, Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Finance, Procurement, Central & Field Reliability and external vendors.

Required profile

• Technical expert for commercial refrigeration systems across Amazon’s European market.
• Proven ability to lead standardisation and reliability improvements across multiple facilities.
• Experience managing large‑scale projects with diverse stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Strong autonomy and capability to work in ambiguous environments.
• Ability to produce detailed technical and business reporting.
