Recruitment Coordinator – Central Auckland

About the role

The Recruitment Coordinator will join Spectrum Group’s HR and recruitment team in Central Auckland, supporting the hiring of support workers, managers, and clinical and administrative staff. This full‑time permanent position offers a fast‑paced environment where each day brings new challenges and the chance to make a real difference for disabled New Zealanders and their whānau.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for a range of vacancies.
• Design and place job advertisements across appropriate channels.
• Screen applications, coordinate interviews and conduct reference checks.
• Maintain vacancy and applicant databases and handle recruitment administration.
• Collect, analyse and report on recruitment and HR metrics.
• Support recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Organise and participate in promotional events such as job fairs.
• Provide ongoing support and on‑site training to hiring managers.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in building a career in recruitment.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in recruitment, HR, customer service, call centre, sales or administration.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities in a fast‑moving environment.
• Confidence using social media and networking to attract candidates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
