Receptionist – Term Time Only

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, students and staff at ACG Sunderland. The role is part‑time, permanent and only required during school terms, providing essential administrative support to keep the front office running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist all visitors, including parents, students, staff and external guests in a courteous manner.
• Answer, direct and manage incoming phone calls and emails, routing them to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain accurate student attendance records, logging late arrivals and early departures.
• Provide administrative assistance to school management, including handling correspondence and routine paperwork.
• Ensure the front‑office environment is tidy, organized and reflects the school’s high standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience working as a receptionist or in a similar front‑office role.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Availability to start in August 2026 and work 32 hours per week during term time.
