Receptionist – Pacific Area Office (Casual)

About the role

The Church is looking for a courteous and reliable receptionist to support the Pacific Area Office in Auckland. This casual, entry‑level position provides the first point of contact for visitors and callers, helping the office run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, screen and direct visitors in a professional manner.
• Answer, forward and take messages for telephone calls.
• Receive, sort and distribute mail and other correspondence.
• Use computer applications to locate employees and schedule appointments.
• Operate standard office equipment such as copy machines and fax.
• Order and replenish office supplies.
• Maintain and organize office files and records.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Beginning to working knowledge of receptionist duties.
• Ability to communicate professionally and provide customer service.
• Capability to follow instructions and work productively with others.
• Physical ability to sit for long periods, move around the office and use computer equipment.
• For Church employment, a temple recommend is required.
