Quantitative Researcher – AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Quantitative Researcher to help train AI models by creating and evaluating complex mathematical problems. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from home on your own schedule. Candidates should have strong mathematical reasoning, with a Master’s or PhD in a related field preferred but not required.

Key responsibilities

• Design diverse and challenging mathematics problems for AI chatbots and assess their outputs.
• Evaluate the quality of AI‑generated solutions for correctness, performance, and overall reliability.

Required profile

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
• Detail‑oriented with a solid foundation in statistics, arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, probability, and inductive/deductive reasoning.
• Current, in‑progress, or completed Master’s and/or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
• Only applicants residing in New Zealand will be considered.
