Quality Technician

About the role

The Quality Technician will support GMP quality activities, perform materials sampling and conduct laboratory testing within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment at Jaychem Industries in East Tamaki, Auckland.

Key responsibilities

• Execute GMP‑compliant quality checks on raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
• Collect and prepare material samples for laboratory analysis.
• Perform laboratory tests according to validated methods and record results accurately.
• Document all activities in batch records and quality systems.
• Assist investigations of non‑conformances and support corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area.

Required profile

• Experience with GMP quality activities and laboratory testing in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a fast‑paced production environment.
