Quality Inspector & Dispatch Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Inspector & Dispatch Coordinator to join our small, family‑owned precision manufacturing business. You will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials and finished components meet our strict quality standards, while also coordinating the dispatch of approved products.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials for compliance with specifications.
• Perform detailed inspections of finished components using measurement tools.
• Document inspection results and report non‑conformities.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and organise dispatch paperwork and schedules for shipped goods.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and dispatch activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings or specifications.
• Good organisational skills to manage both inspection and dispatch tasks.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with production and logistics teams.
