Quality Coordinator & Food Technologist

About the role

The Quality Coordinator & Food Technologist will ensure that all products meet internal and external quality standards, supporting both routine production and new product development. You will work closely with production, procurement, and customer service teams to embed a strong culture of food safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and verify quality checks on raw materials, packaging, in‑process, and finished goods.
• Perform in‑house testing, record results, and maintain retention samples for shelf‑life monitoring.
• Lead real‑time quality monitoring on the production floor, isolating and resolving non‑conformances.
• Prepare and support external audits (MPI, customer, third‑party) and internal audit programs.
• Develop, review, and control SOPs, work instructions, HACCP plans, and other QA documentation.
• Maintain a Quality Performance Dashboard with up‑to‑date metrics and trend analysis.
• Drive root‑cause investigations, CAPA implementation, and closure tracking.
• Deliver food safety and quality training to staff and support team up‑skilling.
• Assist with customer complaint investigations and implement preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the food industry with a focus on quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, HACCP, and audit processes.
• Excellent documentation and record‑keeping skills.
