Quality Control Technician – Manufacturing (12‑hr 4x4 roster)

About the role

Iplex Pipelines NZ is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Control Technician to join its manufacturing team. You will ensure that every plastic pipeline product leaving the plant meets the highest quality standards while working on a 4x4 12‑hour shift roster (2 days, 2 nights).

Key responsibilities

• Perform product and laboratory testing on finished goods.
• Inspect items for compliance with quality specifications.
• Maintain accurate test records and documentation.
• Investigate non‑conformances and support root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with production staff to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or quality‑control environment (preferred).
• Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills across all business areas.
• Organised, proactive and capable of solving problems independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work a 4x4 12‑hour shift roster.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with SAP (advantageous).
