Quality Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Business Partner to join Oceania’s regional operations in the Wellington area. The role will work closely with clinical and operations teams to lead quality improvement and compliance initiatives across our aged‑care centres. You will act as a key influencer, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safe, person‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with facility teams to implement quality strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives across care centres.
• Monitor compliance with aged‑care and healthcare regulations and respond to emerging risks.
• Analyse clinical data and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Provide coaching, education and support to strengthen frontline clinical capability.
• Lead clinical governance activities that enhance safety and reduce care variability.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and champion for high standards in clinical excellence.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (APC) qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health or related field; postgraduate qualifications in Quality or Education are highly desirable.
• Minimum five years’ experience in healthcare quality or clinical governance.
• Deep understanding of aged‑care standards, accreditation processes and risk management.
• Experience in a consultancy or business‑partner role is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Proactive mindset with a drive to achieve measurable improvements.
