Quality Advisor – Transmission (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Northpower is seeking a Quality Advisor to join its Transmission & Growth team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Based in Hamilton, you will work both in the field and alongside operational teams to ensure quality standards are understood, applied and continuously improved across critical electricity infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits, site visits and assurance activities to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Manage audit findings, support corrective‑action implementation and track progress.
• Maintain quality documentation and contribute to the evolution of the quality management framework.
• Support internal and external audits and act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders.
• Coach and mentor teams, promote best practices and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in quality assurance, auditing, operational excellence or a similar role.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in the electrical industry, quality management or operations management.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence and guide teams.
• Practical, solutions‑focused approach to problem solving.
