QA Engineer – Test Analyst (Wellington, NZ)

About the role
DXC Technology is looking for a Test Analyst to join its Wellington team. You will work closely with a local New Zealand customer, delivering functional and non‑functional testing in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements and design comprehensive test cases.
- Execute functional and non‑functional test cases with precision.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to increase coverage and speed releases.
- Identify, analyse, and document defects; work with the team to validate fixes.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts and fellow testers to clarify requirements.
- Contribute to the evolution of testing frameworks, automation, AI capabilities and quality‑engineering practices.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in a Test Analyst or similar QA role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
Required skills
- SQL Server
- API testing
- ALM
- SOAPUI
- Playwright
- Automation testing (experience beneficial)
