Purchasing Officer

About the role

As a Purchasing Officer at Hilton, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our hotels have the right goods and services to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will manage purchasing documentation, maintain accurate records, and support data‑driven decisions through cost analyses and market research.

Key responsibilities

• Support procurement operations by researching prices, assisting with material purchases, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies.
• Process and verify deliveries, matching received items against purchase orders, invoices, and specifications.
• Fulfill internal requisitions, issue items to departments, monitor stock levels, and alert supervisors of low inventory.
• Receive, verify, and process invoices, scanning documents and following up on discrepancies to guarantee timely payment.
• Assist with inventory tracking by conducting routine counts, entering merchandise into tracking systems, and reporting shortages.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of hospitality operations and supply‑chain processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail and adherence to ethical procurement standards.
