About the role
WSP New Zealand is seeking a Property Consultant to join its South Island regional team. You will work on acquisition, disposal and legalisation projects, providing trusted advice to clients across a range of property‑related initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality outcomes for acquisition, disposal and legalisation projects.
- Collaborate with the wider WSP Property team to support consultants and share expertise.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
- Engage with property owners, government agencies and other property professionals.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification in property, law or a related field.
- Minimum three years of professional experience in a property or legal discipline.
- Knowledge of the Public Works Act, Local Government Act, Reserves Act and related legislation (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail, time‑management and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a regional team.
Required skills
- Experience with property valuation and property law processes.
