Property Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, hands‑on Property Assistant to join our friendly team at Ellerslie village. This full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday position supports the Property Manager and Head Gardener in keeping the village safe, beautiful, and running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with general property and garden maintenance.
• Support building maintenance, refurbishments, and minor repairs.
• Help with landscaping, gardening, and ground‑care tasks.
• Participate in property inspections and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, team members, and contractors.

Required profile

• Practical, approachable and dependable.
• Ability to take initiative and complete a variety of tasks efficiently.
• Enjoys a stable, people‑first work environment.
• Capable of working independently while maintaining pride in work quality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience in property maintenance and gardening.
• Strong DIY or trade skills (part‑trade qualified preferred).
• Current driver’s licence.
