About the role
Stantec’s Transport team in Hamilton is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of diverse transport projects, including highways, local roads and infrastructure upgrades, supporting regional growth and community connectivity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead project planning, set‑up and execution, managing resources, finances, quality and risk.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with clear communication.
- Support business development through proposals and client engagement.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants and subcontractors.
- Monitor financial performance, reporting, invoicing and risk mitigation.
- Promote HSSE compliance and a strong safety culture.
- Mentor and develop team members to achieve high performance.
Required profile
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience in consulting or infrastructure.
- Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget and quality.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Required skills
- Project scheduling and budgeting expertise.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) – beneficial.
