Project Manager – Structures (Hawkes Bay)

About the role

Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Civil Projects team in Napier, supporting a range of bridge, water, and infrastructure works across Hawkes Bay. The role will involve both direct project delivery and participation in tendering and winning new work.

Key responsibilities

• Plan execution and develop construction methodologies for all project elements.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare construction plans, documentation, and monthly cost forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient resource, equipment, and workforce utilisation.
• Report progress and performance to the Engineering Manager.
• Maintain a safe, tidy site and support the development of safety and quality management systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to meet safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil or structural projects.
• Strong ability to plan, risk‑manage, and forecast project costs.
• Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
