Project Manager – Robotics & Aerospace R&D

About the role

SYOS is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead the execution of innovative uncrewed vehicle projects from concept through prototype. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, set timelines, budgets and allocate resources.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate engineers, scientists and technicians to ensure effective communication and technical support.
• Manage relationships with customers, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee prototype development, testing procedures and data analysis.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, design specifications and progress reports.
• Handle budget tracking, procurement of parts and resource utilisation.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 3‑5+ years of project management experience in robotics, aerospace, defence or hardware development.
• Proven track record delivering complex technical projects from concept to prototype.
• Strong understanding of R&D processes, product development and certification requirements.
