Project Manager – Process Projects (Christchurch)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Project Manager to join our new Christchurch office. The successful candidate will lead end‑to‑end delivery of new and retrofit process projects across food & beverage, industrial, pharmaceutical and wastewater sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate resources for multiple projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Support expediting activities, logistics coordination and inspection processes to keep materials and deliverables on schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex industrial or process‑related projects in a hygiene environment, preferably in food and beverage.
• Relevant post‑secondary education in engineering, operations or a related discipline.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and cross‑functional interaction.

Required skills

• Project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Expediting and logistics coordination.
• Inspection process coordination and documentation.
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements and quality assurance in industrial/process sectors.
