Project Manager

About the role

You will work closely with managers, engineers, platform developers, analysts and external vendors to deliver digital and business improvement initiatives for Northpower. The role involves leading cross‑functional teams and taking end‑to‑end ownership of projects throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope and develop business cases in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Deliver projects within the Northpower Network Strategic Initiatives portfolio, from vendor selection through implementation, delivery and handover.
• Drive outcomes that support Customer Experience, Asset Management, Network Operations and other core functions.
• Support change‑management activities alongside analysts, developers and business users.
• Monitor, track and report progress, milestones, risks and dependencies across multiple projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar project‑management role within a digital, electricity or utilities environment.
• Exposure to asset‑management or operational systems is desirable.
• Ability to deliver complex projects, manage change effectively and provide clear governance and reporting.
• Comfort with a range of project‑management and software‑development methodologies, including integrated, spatial and cloud‑based systems.
• Strong relationship‑building, influencing and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with solid financial literacy (budgeting and reporting).
