Project Manager

About the role

Belcanto, a specialist in architectural balustrade, façade and metalwork systems, is looking for an organised and proactive Project Manager to join its Auckland team. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will own projects from pre‑installation planning through to practical completion, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from early planning to final handover.
• Develop and manage project programmes, installation sequencing and site readiness.
• Monitor progress, resolve delivery issues and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate site access, logistics, deliveries and installation activities with the Lead Installer and installation teams.
• Conduct pre‑start meetings, installation planning sessions and ensure installers have required information, materials and equipment.
• Perform quality inspections, manage defect identification and close‑out processes.
• Promote health and safety culture, review site‑specific safety requirements and participate in safety meetings.
• Coordinate shop drawing reviews, liaise with design and production teams, and manage fabrication programmes and delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in project management, preferably within construction or installation environments.
• Organised, proactive and able to work collaboratively with senior managers, installers and clients.
