Project Manager

About the role

Objective is seeking a Project Manager to join its Wellington team and lead the delivery of complex SaaS and enterprise software projects for government and regulated organisations across New Zealand. You will work directly with customers, influence outcomes and see projects through from discovery to successful hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise software and SaaS implementations.
• Lead project planning, governance, risk management and financial forecasting.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate consultants, technical teams and customer resources.
• Drive project outcomes from discovery through implementation, adoption and hand‑over.
• Ensure measurable business value is realised from Objective solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering software, technology or SaaS implementation projects.
• Strong project planning and commercial management capabilities.
• Experience working with customers in consulting, professional services or vendor environments.
• Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and navigate competing priorities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Project
• PRINCE2 (or similar project‑management qualification)
• PMBOK (or similar project‑management qualification)
• Agile delivery methodologies
