Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Crown Infrastructure Delivery (CID) is seeking motivated Project Managers to lead complex infrastructure, construction and property projects across New Zealand. You will join a collaborative Programme Delivery team in Wellington, working on projects that deliver lasting value to communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure projects from planning through construction to close‑out.
• Manage project controls, including schedule, risk, and budget, or support these functions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to business cases and investment decision‑making.
• Coordinate project teams, ensuring effective governance and reporting in line with CID standards and NZ guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience in infrastructure, construction or property project delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Relevant qualification or demonstrable experience in project management.
