Project Manager - Infrastructure

About the role

This position offers a developing Project Manager the chance to build a consultancy career while working on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects across New Zealand. You will collaborate with experienced project leaders and take ownership of key phases from initiation to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day activities across consultant and contractor teams.
• Facilitate and lead design team meetings.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Support procurement and contract administration activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
• Contribute to successful outcomes through proactive problem solving and communication.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of project management experience in infrastructure, construction, transport, property or related sectors.
• Experience managing the full project lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to coordinate consultant teams and lead project meetings.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project controls.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, project management or a related discipline.
• Positive, proactive and solutions‑focused attitude.
