Project Manager – Fixed‑Term (until Aug 2027)

About the role

The Project Manager will support the delivery of Business Link Pacific Phase II, a New Zealand‑funded programme that links Pacific Island SMEs with business advisors. Working on a fixed‑term contract through August 2027, you will coordinate operations, procurement, contracts, and grant administration to ensure project outputs meet donor and organisational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day project implementation, monitor schedules, deliverables and dependencies, and flag risks or delays.
• Support mobilisation, implementation and close‑out phases, ensuring systems and documentation are ready.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, including vendor identification, due diligence, onboarding and engagement of consultants, subcontractors and service providers.
• Prepare and maintain contractual documents such as sub‑consultant agreements, grant and subsidy agreements, purchase orders and variations.
• Administer grants and subsidies, conduct compliance checks and ensure alignment with contractual and donor obligations.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating multi‑workstream projects in a development or donor‑funded environment.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contracting and grant administration processes.
• Ability to work closely with senior program managers and activity directors to ensure compliance with policies and donor requirements.
