About the role
Fonterra is seeking a Project Manager to drive on‑farm performance initiatives. The role blends insight generation with hands‑on execution, helping farmers translate strategic plans into measurable improvements on the ground.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and embed farm performance projects across multiple sites.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure timely execution and continuous improvement.
- Translate farm system insights into actionable plans and monitor their impact.
- Work closely with farmers to understand challenges and co‑create solutions.
- Report progress and outcomes to the Programme Manager – Farm Optimisation.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience working directly with farmers and understanding farm systems.
- Proven ability to turn strategy into practical actions on‑farm.
- Strong project management capability with a focus on execution and coordination.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
