Project Manager – Community Facilities (Auckland)

About the role

We are looking for experienced Project Managers to lead the delivery of parks, community facilities and open‑space projects across Auckland. You will translate community plans into high‑quality physical assets, working from initial concept through to project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of capital and renewal works, including initiation, community consultation, design, consent and tender processes.
• Oversee construction, landscape and civil works to ensure projects meet quality, budget and schedule targets.
• Coordinate with local iwi, councillors, community groups and internal stakeholders to achieve best‑fit solutions.
• Monitor project performance, manage risks and report progress to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project and contract management within construction, landscape architecture, civil, structural or mechanical engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of resource consenting processes and relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Ability to make timely decisions, think independently and collaborate effectively.
