Project Manager – Cloud & Infrastructure Platforms

About the role

One New Zealand is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of cloud and infrastructure platform initiatives, including datacentre optimisation and modern workplace programmes. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional technology teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects across cloud, datacentre, workplace and cybersecurity domains, managing scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Coordinate infrastructure build, migration, testing, cut‑over and decommissioning activities for virtualisation, container, storage and backup platforms.
• Support architecture governance through solution design reviews and technical approval forums.
• Manage dependencies and relationships with vendors, suppliers and delivery partners.
• Maintain project documentation, status reporting, financial tracking and post‑project close‑down.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities in tools, methodologies and processes.

Required profile

• Prince2, PMP or equivalent project‑management certification.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale cloud and infrastructure projects, preferably in telecommunications or large enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
