Project Manager – Clinical Research

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead clinical research projects, ensuring smooth execution from planning through delivery. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing contracts, and maintaining compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for study sponsors.
• Lead and direct cross‑functional team leaders, third‑party vendors, and CROs.
• Manage contractual deliverables, milestone payments, and insurance qualifications.
• Control project scope, schedule, and costs to mitigate financial risk.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee use of Tigermed systems such as CTMS and eTMF, escalating issues as needed.
• Participate in bid defense processes and provide training to project team members.
• Provide performance feedback to line managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacology, Biology or related field (diploma acceptable with strong experience).
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience, including at least 6 years in AUS project management.
• Current GCP certification.
• Strong knowledge of drug development processes, local regulations, and clinical trial operations.
• Proven budgeting and business acumen is a plus.
