Project Manager – Civil & Ground Engineering

About the role
Join Brian Perry Civil as a Project Manager leading the delivery of complex civil and ground engineering projects across Wellington. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from early planning through to completion, while building capable teams and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and communities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead delivery of civil, structural or foundation projects from planning through completion.
- Build, guide and support high‑performing project teams.
- Manage programme, costs, risks and resources across live projects.
- Maintain clear governance, reporting and commercial control.
- Lead safety, quality and environmental performance on site.
- Manage client, consultant and stakeholder relationships.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field.
- Significant experience delivering civil or infrastructure projects in New Zealand.
- Background in civil, structures, foundations or ground engineering.
- Proven people leadership and team‑building capability.
- Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience.
- Clear communication skills and sound judgement under pressure.
