Project Engineer (Civil Construction)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead planning, coordination and on‑site execution of civil and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with crews, subcontractors and project leaders to ensure safe, efficient delivery and high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and programme work on daily, weekly and longer horizons.
• Coordinate crews, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Lead on‑site activities while maintaining strong HSEQ standards.
• Track progress, productivity and key milestones.
• Manage risks, costs and project reporting.
• Build effective relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 5+ years experience in civil or infrastructure projects.
• Practical understanding of construction methods and sequencing.
• Proven ability to coordinate teams, subcontractors and resources.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Clear communication style and ability to build trust across teams.
