Production Test Technician

About the role

The Production Test Technician works within the Global Operations Group to perform testing and troubleshooting on complete wafer fab equipment modules. The role supports manufacturing activities, ensuring equipment functions correctly and safely in a high‑volume semiconductor environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform testing and troubleshooting of wafer fab equipment modules using work instructions, schematics, and diagrams.
• Operate and maintain test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose malfunctions and determine corrective actions or recommend remediation methods.
• Follow and enforce safety protocols, including PPE, clean‑room procedures, LOTO, and use of lifting fixtures.
• Document test results, report issues, and escalate problems to appropriate teams.
• Participate in shift pass‑downs, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in Electronics & Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in electrical/electronics testing.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, overtime, and occasional travel to other facilities.
• Ability to use computer‑based data systems and Microsoft Office applications.
