Production Shift Manager (Frontline Manager)

About the role

PepsiCo UK is looking for a Production Shift Manager (Frontline Manager) to lead a frontline team on a 4‑on/4‑off rotating shift pattern. You will be the single point of leadership for day and night shifts, ensuring safety, quality and operational performance while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Role‑model PepsiCo values and behaviours, setting high standards for the team.
• Champion “Safety First, Safety Always” and ensure compliance with all safety systems.
• Maintain strong GMP, housekeeping and audit‑ready standards daily.
• Protect product quality and food safety by consistently following quality systems and checks.
• Ensure processes and equipment standards are adhered to, driving reliable, high‑performance operations.
• Lead, coach and inspire the team, supporting performance, development and long‑term career growth.
• Manage attendance, performance and conduct to build a capable, accountable frontline team.
• Own area outputs and work with the Operations Manager and other stakeholders to continuously improve key metrics.

Required profile

• Proven frontline leadership experience in safety, operations and quality.
• Ability to build strong, respectful relationships and empower teams.
• Calm decision‑making under pressure and strong organisational skills.
• Effective communication and coaching abilities, with experience training others.
• Familiarity with continuous‑improvement environments and data‑driven problem solving.

Required skills

• Integrated Work Systems (IWS) or similar continuous‑improvement tools.
