Production Manager (Senior Leadership)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a high‑performing manufacturing operation in Auckland. This senior leadership position, officially titled Line Leader, involves coaching and developing frontline leaders and overseeing an indirect team of around 60 production staff in a fast‑paced 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Shift Leads, supported by Process and Technical Leads.
• Coach and develop frontline leaders to raise performance and accountability.
• Drive operational discipline and continuous improvement across the site.
• Ensure operational excellence through people‑focused initiatives.
• Implement and champion Integrated Work Systems (IWS) methodology.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience, preferably in food production.
• Track record of managing leaders and large operational teams (50+ staff).
• Improvement‑focused mindset with a background in engineering, process management or production.
• Experience with IWS methodology is highly advantageous.
