Production Manager

About the role

Join Marley, a leading brand within Aliaxis, as a Production Manager at our 24/5 manufacturing facility in Manurewa. You will oversee injection moulding, finishing, crushing, and frame operations, driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a strong safety culture aligned with the "Go for Zero" commitment.
• Coach and develop production teams to boost engagement, capability, and performance.
• Improve OEE, productivity, waste reduction, and overall operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and embed Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and monitor key operational KPIs.
• Lead automation, process optimisation, and future investment projects.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Manage budgets and support commercially sound decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in a Production Manager or equivalent manufacturing leadership role.
• Proven track record in safety, quality, and operational performance improvement.
• Experience managing medium to large operations in plastics, building products, FMCG, steel, or similar environments.
• Hands‑on, visible leadership style with the ability to build credibility on the shop floor.
