Production Line Manager

About the role

Join Danone’s IWS team as a Production Line Manager reporting to the Operations Department Manager. You will be responsible for delivering safety, quality, cost and production targets while leading the line’s equipment, operators and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead line performance, equipment reliability and personnel, driving continuous improvement.
• Manage shift teams – performance, discipline, attendance, rosters, holidays and training.
• Monitor line metrics to eliminate waste, maximise efficiency and optimise cost per tonne.
• Oversee re‑work processes, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.
• Champion centre lining, production routines, product control standards and systematic defect elimination.
• Ensure strict compliance with Food Safety and ISO 22000 standards and recommend improvements.
• Promote employee ownership of quality through Danone’s iCare culture programme.
• Uphold WISE2 Safety Management System principles and foster a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Energetic, proactive professional with proven experience in production environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, coaching and continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, night shifts and weekends for 24/7 operations.
• Dairy or food manufacturing experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Coaching and training capabilities.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, ISO 22000 and WISE2 safety systems.
