About the role
We are looking for a Product & Purchasing Coordinator to support our Supply Chain Manager in delivering product development projects and managing procurement activities. Based at our Auckland facility, you will work hands‑on with prototypes, samples, technical specifications and suppliers to ensure timely, on‑budget product launches.
Key responsibilities
- Drive product development projects from concept through launch, keeping timelines and budgets on track.
- Coordinate with suppliers, factories and internal teams to bring new products to market.
- Investigate product issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage prototypes, samples, technical specifications and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate, organised technical product information for easy access.
- Support the head of supply chain by monitoring stock levels and placing purchase orders.
- Handle supplier queries, quality issues and follow‑up on late samples.
Required profile
- Hands‑on “do‑er” who enjoys working with physical products and tools as well as computers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
- Organised, reliable and disciplined in follow‑through, able to build and execute plans.
- Experience in furniture, design‑adjacent or related manufacturing environments is preferred.
