Product Marketing Manager

About the role

Tourism New Zealand is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join its New Zealand and Business Events team. The role connects the country’s tourism industry with global marketing activities, ensuring that the right products, experiences and stories are represented throughout the visitor journey.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with New Zealand tourism operators, industry partners and offshore teams to develop compelling product propositions that support global campaigns.
• Ensure New Zealand’s tourism offering is visible, relevant and well‑positioned across B2B and B2C channels, driving growth in visitor arrivals and value.
• Identify opportunities for industry partners to contribute to Tourism New Zealand’s activities, amplifying marketing impact in key markets.
• Support the integration of Qualmark and VIN Inc into broader marketing initiatives and contribute to major trade shows and events alongside Experience New Zealand and offshore teams.
• Leverage AI and emerging digital tools responsibly to strengthen product marketing, improve efficiency and deliver insight‑led outputs.

Required profile

• Approximately five years of marketing experience, preferably in product, destination or tourism marketing.
• Strong understanding of integrated marketing across both B2B and B2C channels.
• Commercial and strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into clear product messages.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and confidence working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, identify opportunities and deliver quality outcomes.
