Procurement Manager

About the role

Based at CARTERS' National Support Office in East Tamaki, the Procurement Manager will drive efficient, value‑focused sourcing across the business. Reporting to the National Procurement Manager, you will manage end‑to‑end procurement activities, negotiate commercial contracts, and build strong supplier relationships to support the company’s financial and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the end‑to‑end value chain to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve margins.
• Support category management by sourcing the right products and leveraging purchasing power through superior negotiation.
• Review and own existing contracts, ensuring terms and financial incentives are optimised.
• Engage strategically with key suppliers to add value for customers.
• Lead special projects as required.

Required profile

• 2+ years of procurement experience, preferably in construction, FMCG or retail.
• Strong analytical ability with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Proven stakeholder management capabilities.
• Post‑graduate degree in Business Administration or Management is desirable.
