Procurement Business Partner (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Meridian is seeking a commercially‑savvy Procurement Business Partner on a two‑year fixed‑term contract. The role will support a key initiative within the Generation team, helping to embed a more centralised and digitally enabled procurement approach across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to identify savings, optimisation opportunities and improve supplier performance.
• Drive the adoption of centralised procurement processes and digital tools within the Generation function.
• Build procurement capability and maturity by coaching stakeholders and establishing best practices.
• Collaborate with a cross‑functional squad to deliver value‑focused procurement outcomes.

Required profile

• Experienced procurement professional with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to influence across a wide range of stakeholders.
• Comfortable balancing operational needs with strategic cost‑saving initiatives.
• Proactive, pragmatic and focused on sustainable business results.
