Procurement and Supplier Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement and Supplier Advisor to join our locally owned Mitre 10 MEGA store in Whangarei. In this hands‑on position you will ensure the right products are available at the right time, supporting a reliable shopping experience for our DIY customers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain optimal product availability by coordinating with suppliers and in‑store teams.
• Build and nurture strong supplier partnerships to improve stock flow and reduce supply issues.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and health, supporting replenishment and ranging decisions.
• Respond quickly to supply disruptions, taking ownership to resolve issues.
• Analyse demand trends and collaborate with store teams to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Keep supplier accounts accurate and up‑to‑date.
