Processing Officer – Split Shifts (Invercargill)

About the role

Join NZ Post’s new Bill Richardson Drive branch in Invercargill as a Processing Officer. You’ll be part of the team that sorts, consolidates and dispatches parcels and freight, ensuring they’re ready for couriers to deliver across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and consolidate parcels and freight for dispatch.
• Prepare parcels for courier pickup during split‑shift periods.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Lift items up to 25 kg as required.
• Adhere to site safety procedures and company policies.

Required profile

• Available Monday‑Thursday 3:30 am‑9:30 am and 3:00 pm‑5:30 pm, and Saturday 3:30 am‑9:30 am.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
• Strong attention to detail and good geographical knowledge.
• Committed team player who prioritises safety.
