Processing Officer

About the role

Join NZ Post’s vibrant team as a Processing Officer, where you will play a key part in the parcel delivery journey. Working the evening shift at the Syd Bradley Road branch, you will help ensure parcels and freight are ready for timely courier dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight for delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure parcels are correctly labelled.
• Adhere to health and safety standards while handling loads up to 25 kg.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily processing targets.
• Work the night shift (4 pm – 12:30 am, Monday‑Friday) and receive the applicable allowance.

Required profile

• Available to work Monday to Friday, 4 pm – 12:30 am.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
• Strong attention to detail and good geographical knowledge.
• Team‑oriented and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
