Processing Officer / Forklift Operator (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Processing Officer who will also operate a forklift on a part‑time basis at our Taupo hub. The role runs Tuesday to Saturday, 5 am‑8 am, delivering the essential sorting and dispatch work that enables parcels to reach customers across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight for courier pickup.
• Operate a forklift safely to move pallets and loads.
• Lift and handle items up to 25 kg continuously throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Follow site safety procedures and report any hazards.

Required profile

• Committed team player who prioritises personal and site safety.
• Hold a restricted New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Possess an OSH certification or F endorsement.
• Physically able to perform a demanding role, including lifting 25 kg repeatedly.
• Attention to detail and good geographical knowledge of the region.
