About the role
Join Purina’s Marton factory as a Process Operator in the packing department. You will work on a rotating shift roster, ensuring our high‑speed automated lines run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to GMP, safety and quality requirements.
- Operate and adjust high‑speed automated packaging machinery to produce a range of pack sizes.
- Complete routine paperwork, material consumption tracking, and SAP transactions.
- Perform on‑line quality‑assurance checks and document results accurately.
- Carry out machine cleaning, setting changes, and minor maintenance.
- Participate in shift handovers, operational reviews and line reporting.
- Assist with troubleshooting and support the Line Owner as needed.
Required profile
- Reliability, strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work day or night 12‑hour shifts.
- Team‑player mindset with good communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo pre‑employment health, drug and alcohol checks.
- Full New Zealand working rights.
Required skills
- Operation of high‑speed automated packaging machinery.
- Proficiency with SAP for production and inventory transactions.
- On‑line quality‑assurance testing and documentation.
