Process Operator – Night Shift (Mon‑Fri)

About the role

Join Bluebird Foods Ltd, a leading snack manufacturer in New Zealand, as a Process Operator on the weekday night shift. You will work in a highly automated environment, ensuring safe and efficient production of our iconic snack brands.

Key responsibilities

• Operate industrial cooking equipment and production machinery.
• Run robotic packaging lines that fill chips into packets and boxes.
• Record, report and input accurate production data into computerized systems.
• Conduct flavour testing and ensure correct flavour is supplied for each product run.
• Perform quality checks, manage materials and waste, and support food safety targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food processing, manufacturing, industrial kitchen or cooking environments.
• Understanding of HACCP and GMP principles with a record of safe work practices.
• High mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a food production team.
• Keen interest in developing a career in food manufacturing.
