Process and Projects Engineer

About the role

MADE New Zealand is seeking a Process and Projects Engineer to join its Operations Leadership Team. In this newly created position you will drive the design, management and delivery of capital projects across the internal supply chain while supporting day‑to‑day operations with a strong focus on quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, design and implement capital projects that improve process efficiency and support business growth.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources, coordinating with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Finance and external suppliers.
• Oversee contractor activities and supplier relationships to ensure safe, on‑time delivery.
• Provide technical problem‑solving and process optimisation support to the manufacturing floor.
• Maintain compliance with quality and safety systems throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in food manufacturing, dairy, beverage or FMCG environments.
• Proven track record managing capital projects in an operational setting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
