Pricing Manager

About the role

ACC is seeking a Pricing Manager to lead its health commissioning pricing and funding strategy across New Zealand. Based in Wellington, you will shape investment decisions for treatment and rehabilitation services, influencing provider behaviour and system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pricing reviews and provide pricing advice for ACC‑funded health services.
• Develop and refine pricing methodologies, frameworks and models.
• Analyse cost pressures, utilisation trends and market dynamics to inform commissioning decisions.
• Support commercial and commissioning teams with robust pricing insight.
• Identify and manage pricing and market risk.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and sector partners.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing specialist pricing team.

Required profile

• Significant experience in pricing, funding, costing or commercial strategy within a complex or regulated environment.
• Proven ability to develop pricing models, funding approaches or commercial frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret data, cost drivers and market intelligence.
• Strategic thinking and commercial judgement to influence high‑level investment decisions.

What we offer

• Salary range $117,787 – $152,430 per year (depending on experience).
